How Teaching Babies to Sign through Storytelling Works

Talking with Baby introduces the first two stories in a series called Come Sign with Us: The Adventures of Potts and Friends

The title of each story is listed in a different color of the rainbow and represents the different colored words you will find throughout the series of the stories. Each story will teach new signs and the words for those signs will be in a color of the rainbow.

For instance, in story titled Yum! Breakfast Time, the word mom is in red and how to do the sign is shown above the word each time it appears in that story.

In the story titled Bath Time Bubbles, the word mom is still in red, but the sign is no longer illustrated above the word. Instead, the new words introduced are in the color orange, the next color of the rainbow, with the sign illustrated above each new word.

In the second story you will begin to learn colors and concepts.

Signs Used in This Book can be used to track Baby's milestones by putting the date next to the word - use different colored ink whenever tracking for more than one Baby
